I have finally caught up on all my bookish unboxings! June’s Fairyloot theme was Rebels in Ballgowns. The theme and the items were a total mystery to me, I had no idea what was going to be included. But I am really glad with some of the items included in this box, there is even a new item that has never been featured before.

Unboxing
The first item was this Exclusive Corvette Candle by Geeky Clean. The candle is inspired by the Nevernight series by Jay Kristoff. I always like the candles from Geeky Clean because they always smell so nice and the scent is really long lasting. I also like that a Nevernight item was included in this box because the series always seems to get overlooked which is a shame.

The second item was this Exclusive Destiny Cushion Cover designed by Miss Phi. The cushion design is based off the Caraval series by Stephanie Garber and features a quote from the second book in the series, Legendary. You can tell that a lot of effort and thought has been put in the design for this cover because it relates to the book and the series really well.

The third item was this Exclusive Reading Journal, the notebook was designed by FictionTea Designs and the quote art is by Stella’s Bookish Art. The journal is perfect to keep track of all the books I plan on reading over the next six months. I have to say that I am really impressed with this item. I love the design, the layouts, the whole item is something new and completely different.

The next item were this Exclusive Shatter Me Magnetic Bookmarks designed by Taratjah Art. The bookmarks are of Warner, Juliette and Adam from the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I have read the first book in the series but have yet to read any of the other books. These look really nice close up, there is a lot of detail in the characters, they look too pretty to use as bookmarks.

Another item was this Masquerade Mask Necklace by Fairyloot. The design of the necklace is very eye catching and really stunning to look at. Even though this item isn’t really for me I would happily gift this too some one and I am sure they would love it. The design of the necklace also fits in really well with this months theme, Rebels in Ballgowns.

The final bookish item included in the box was this Exclusive Looking Awesome Iron on Patch by Ink and Wonder. Again this has a really pretty design and I always love the art work that Ink and Wonder come up with because it is always so bright, colourful and beautiful. I don’t think I have much use for an iron on patch, but I may use it as a bookmark instead.

The book featured in this box was Grace and Fury by Tracey Banghart. I have to admit that I have not heard anything about this book, but the description sounds intriguing so I will give this a read at some point. This edition of Grace and Fury is an exclusive for Fairyloot because its a hardback edition of the UK paperback, and the book isn’t released until the end of July, so we got it a month early. Also with the book was a letter from the author, a signed bookplate and a postcard.

Overall Thoughts
I have to say that this is one of Fairyloot’s better boxes. I really liked the theme and the items included. I might not perhaps use all the items myself, but I liked that there was some effort to include items that are not normally featured in the boxes, and that some of the items are completely new. Also including an exclusive edition of Grace and Fury makes having this book all the more worth it.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.

I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of The Power Within. I am excited to see what items they have planned to featured in the box because I love the theme title and the suppliers that have been revealed looks like its going to be a great box.
