The theme for March’s Wildest Dream Box was Family Ties. I was really excited to see what would be included in this box because the theme was something different and I had no idea on the book that would be included in this box. After unboxing last months box, I knew whatever would be in the box it would be worth the money.
The first item included in March’s box was this The Weasley’s Shower Gel made by Geeky Clean. This item is exclusive for the Wildest Dreams box and is based on the Weasleys from the Harry Potter series. The shower gel has a tangy orange scent and it smells wonderful.
The second item was The Carters Tea made by Rosie Lea Tea. The tea is a wonderful breakfast tea and is based of the book The Hate U Give. I haven’t tried the tea yet, but I do love the smell of the tea, so I am sure I will love the taste once I get round to trying it.
Also include in this Family Ties box was a personalised box of tissues to go with the book that is part of this months box. I love that there is a personalised item and something that we would use when reading the book.
The book in this months box was Far From the Tree by Robin Benway.
When 16 year-old Grace gives up her baby for adoption, she decides that the time has come to find out more about her own biological mother. Although her biological mum proves elusive, her search leads her to two half-siblings she never knew existed.
Maya, 15, has been adopted by wealthy parents and seems to have the picture-perfect family – that is, if you look past her alcoholic mother and the fact that Maya stands out like a sore thumb.
Older brother Joaquin hasn’t been so lucky. At 18, he’s shuffled between foster home after foster home, always careful never to get attached to anyone or anything, because it always gets taken away.
When these three siblings come together, they find in themselves the place they can belong, while the secrets they guard threaten to explode…
I have been wanting to read this for a while now, so I am happy that I got this book. I can definitely see the reason why the box included some tissues because the story seems like its going to be an emotional read. Also with the book was a letter from the author.
This is my second Wildest Dreams Book Box, and I really liked this box. The theme is something different and not like other book subscription boxes. I like that this was a more family oriented box and it was well thought out, and all the items fitted perfectly with the theme. If you are looking for a book subscription box that is cheaper compared to others on the market, then please consider subscribing to Wildest Dreams Book Box because you won’t be disappointed.
