February Wrap Up

This month I managed to read my entire TBR again, and another two books. All the books this month were great reads and there was not one that I disliked. Again I managed to read a wide range of books, and a couple of books that I have had sitting on my shelf for while now.

The books I read in February were-

Spare and Found Parts by Sarah Maria Griffin

When I was offered the chance to review Spare and Found Parts I jumped at the chance because quite a few people have been raving about this book. I am happy to report that I am now one of these people raving about this book because it is bloody brilliant, the story, the characters, the world, are all amazing.

Batman Nightwalker by Marie Lu

I love anything and everything to do with Batman, so when I heard about this I knew I had to read it. I found Batman Nightwalker to be a very quick and interesting read. Instead of Batman, the focus is on Bruce Wayne before he is Batman, and I really enjoyed reading about his adventures. Marie Lu’s writing is again top notch, and I would definitely recommend this to superhero fans.

Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

I have had both Passenger and Wayfarer sitting on my shelf for a while now, and when I had finished reading all my TBR books, I was looking for something else to read. I am so happy I decided to read this because it was a brilliant start to the series, and I cannot wait to read the second book soon.

Time Shards by Dana Fredsti and David Fitzgerald

This was another book I got the opportunity to review from the publisher, and as soon as I read the description for Time Shards I immediately wanted to read the entire book. The story read like it was an action film and I was on the edge of my seat and holding my breath many times throughout this book. I would love for this to be turned into a movie.

The Innocent Wife by Amy Lloyd

I don’t read many crime thriller books, but when the publisher contacted me to see if I would review this title, and I jumped at the chance. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. It was so gripping and engaging, even when I did manage to put the book down I found myself thinking about it.

Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albetlli

This is the second time I have read Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda, and I think I loved it even more the second time round. I read this in just a couple of hours and I adored every minute. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside while reading, and I don’t think I will be forgetting about this book for a while.

Everless by Sara Holland

After receiving Everless in December’s Fairyloot box I have been itching to read it. I have heard so many amazing review for this book I was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to all the hype. I was happy to be proven wrong because I found this book really interesting and loved the world and how original the story was.

Book of the Month

All the books I read this book were brilliant, but the one book that I absolutely adored and fell in love with all over again was Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. Everything about this book is amazing and if I urge any of you to pick up one book this year, please let it be this one, you will not be disappointed. I was lucky enough to go and see the film this month as well, and I am happy to report that for once the film did the book justice.

  1. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda. I’m ready for the film to come out and only sad that something like this wasn’t out there when I was a teenager.
