January Fairyloot Unboxing

The theme for January’s Fairyloot was Talk Faerie To Me. When I first heard of the theme I was intrigued to see what items they would include in the box, and what fandoms why would be part of because there are some really interesting faerie series. Now I have seen the items chosen for January box, I have to say that Fairyloot have put some great ideas into this months box.

Unboxing

The first item in the box was this Exclusive What Breaks You Pillowcase designed by Evie Bookish. The pillowcase features a quote from A Court of Wings and Ruin, and I think it is a perfect item for this months theme. I love the design of this pillowcase, it is striking and beautifully decorated.

The second Item was this Exclusive  prince Cardan Candle made by Meraki candles. This will be the last Meraki Candle to be featured in a Fairyloot box, which is a little sad because I got my first every Meraki Candle in my first Fairyloot box. The candle is based on a character from this months book, and they even asked the author to come up with a scent that the character would smell of, which I think is a really nice touch.

Another item included in this month box was this Exclusive Seelie Lip Balm made by Geeky Clean. There were two different variations scent out, there was either a Seelie lip balm or a Unseelie lip balm. I think this is a really great item to include in this box because again it fits in with the theme really well, and Geeky Clean always make really high quality items.

Also included in the box was this Exclusive Faerieland Colouring Book by Michael O’ Mara. I have never really got into the craze of colouring, but flicking through some of the pictures in this book has definitely made me reconsider, and I might have to colour a couple.

These Exclusive ‘Illyrian’ Magnetic Bookmarks by Dreamy and Co were also included in the box. They are fey and Rhysand from the A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy, and they look great. I am a little scared to use them incase I ruin them.

Finally these prints were in the box. The Prints of Rowan and Aelin from the Throne of Glass series are made by Diana Worak, and the Text Prints are made by Stella’s Bookish Art. I think all fours prints are beautiful, and I kind of wish they were all separate so I could have them all on display.

The book featured in January’s box was The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I have been hearing about this book a lot recently on the book community, so I can’t wait to see what all the hype is about. Also included with the book was a letter from the author, a signed bookplate and an Exclusive Prince Cardon Artwork Print made by Merwild.

Overall Thoughts

I have to say that Fairyloot has definitely  kicked off 2018 with an amazing box. I think this is the best box for the theme because every item included related to the Faerie theme perfectly. As usual there is a great mix of items to make all bookish fans appreciate this box. I love how Fairyloot are able to get some many exclusive items for a box, and all the items are such high quality.

If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.

Fairyloot

I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Twisted Tales. I am excited to see what items they have planned to featured in the box because I love the theme title and the suppliers that have been revealed looks like its going to be a great box.
