December was a busy month for me and I didn’t manage to get much reading done. In total I read a total of five books, and I enjoyed reading all of them. Every book was a pleasure to read and definitely made a stressful month at work more bearable.
The books I read in December were-
Frostblood by Elly Blake
Frostblood was a re-read and with it being one of my favourite books of last year I knew I was going to enjoy reading this all over again. I love everything about this book, the world, the characters, the story. Everything is amazing.
I rate this book 5/5 stars
Fireblood by Elly Blake
After reading Frostblood I couldn’t wait to start Fireblood. I think I enjoyed this even more than the first book. I read this book in just a couple of sitting because I just couldn’t put the book down.

Starborn by Lucy Hounsom
After being sent the three books for a storygram tour earlier this month, I was excited to start this series. I really enjoyed this first book and I hope to carry on with the series in the new year.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
After having this book sat on shelf for ages I thought it was about time to get it read. As soon as I started this book I was transported into the magical world and I never wanted to leave. I can see myself re-reading this book every year and never get bored.

Book of the Month
My book of the month has to be Fireblood by Elly Blake. It was hard to chose a book this month because all the books I read were such amazing reads. But I decided to go with Fireblood because for me it was a really strong second book and definitely made me fall even more in love with the series. I found the story to be exciting and full of edge of your seat moments. Also the characters from the first book were more developed in this book as well as introducing us to some new and interesting characters. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series when it’s released next year.
