The theme for November’s Fairyloot was Ladies That Slay, and I was so excited for this box. I thought the theme for this box was really interesting and different. Now having unboxed everything I can say that all the items included fitted in with the theme really well, and I think this box will please most book lovers.
Unboxing
The first item was this Exclusive Brightest Witch Candle by Flick The Wick. This is the first time I’ve received a Harry Potter candle in a subscription box and I hope it won’t be the last. I have had this burning for a couple of nights and it smells beautiful. I also love the deep dark red colour of the candle.
The second item is this Exclusive Blue’s Brew made by Bookish Teas. This tea is inspired by Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle. I haven’t drank any fruity teas before but if it tastes like it smells then I am sure going to love it. I will have to try drinking this when I am reading one of the two books included in this box.
This is the one item I was really excited to unbox. This Exclusive Slay Book Sleeve is designed by Aunmjuli Art. The sleeve will keep all books safe and is even waterproof. I love the design for this and it really fits in with the theme really well. I will definitely be using this to store my current read.
Also included was this Exclusive Fire Is Catching Badge made by Literary Emporium. I have never had an iron on badge before and I don’t think I will use it on clothes, but I think I will use it as a bookmark or something. The design is very eye catching and feels like it’s made to last.
There was also This Mortal Coil Pin included in this box as well as an Exclusive Fight Darkness Sticker designed by Reverie & Ink. The quote is from An Ember in the Ashes and I really love the colours on the sticker.
There was two books included in this box and the first book was an ARC of Furyborn by Claire Legrand. Recently I have heard some positive reviews about this book so I cannot wait to get round to reading this in the new year.
The book chosen for this month was The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli. I have recently read this book and fell instantly in love with it. I love this edition because it’s an exclusive for FairyLoot because it has silver foiling compared to the normal gold foiling. Also included with the book was a letter, signed book plate and art work.
Overall Thoughts
I really liked this box and the all the items included, and with the bonus of two books, this box was amazing. I loved that there was so many different fandoms and so many different types of items. The two books included fitted in with the theme really well and I cannot wait to read Furyborn, as well as reading The Last Namsara in the new year.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.
Fairyloot
I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Oh So Regal. I am excited to see what items they have planned to featured in the box because I love the theme title and the suppliers that have been revealed looks like its going to be a great box.
