October Wrap Up

I didn’t read as much as I wanted this month, I think thats because of work and the start of another reading slump. I just didn’t feel the urge to pick up a book a to read. Its not because of the books, because all the books I read this month were such great reads. I am hoping that next month I manage to read a few more books because I didn’t get to read all the books I wanted too this month. I am happy with the books I did manage to get read because they were all brilliant reads.

The books I did manage to read in October were-

Wonder Woman- Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

A really interesting take on the Wonder Woman character and a story that could easily be shown on the big screen. Cant wait to read more of these origin stories.

Book of the Month

It was hard choosing my favourite book this month because all the books I managed to read were at least four star reads. But I decided to go with The Book of Dust by Philip Pullman. I chose this book because I absolutely loved this book from the very start. The His Dark Materials series is one of my favourite book series, and I was so excited to start reading this new instalment. Everything from the writing, the story and the characters, make this book an fantastic read that everyone will love to read. If you have not started this series yet, I would highly suggest you go out and buy all three books, you will not regret it.
