Unboxing March Fairyloot

img_3075

The theme for March’s Fairyloot was Myths and Monsters, and with this being Fairyloot’s anniversary box I was excited to see what was inside. Before unboxing this box I did have an idea on what book was going to be included, but all the other items were a surprise.

Unboxing

The first item was this beautiful Silver Dragon Scale Scarf made by GivArt. This is something new to be included in the box and it definitely fitted in with the theme well. I really like the material for the scarf because its light and the colours are stunning. I wont use the scarf myself, but I am sure I will find someone who would love it.

The second item in the box were these Unicorn Fairy Lights made by Mustard. Again another new item that has never been included in the box before. I think these are really pretty lights and I can see myself using them for some bookish photos for my bookstagram.

Another item was this Nephilim Candle made by Geeky Clean. I am so in love with this candle. As soon as I opened the lid the beautiful sent of black cherry and lime filled the room and it was delicious. I have had the candle lit most nights, and the scent is still as strong. This is my first Geeky Clean candle, but it will not be my last.

Also included in the box was this Mermaid Pocket Mirror made by Book Otter. I am not a fan of items like this because I would not normally use them, but I really like the design on the back of the mirror. I am sure I would find someone who I can gift this item too because it is such a pretty item.

One of my favourite items in this box were these Dragon and Phoenix Magnetic Bookmarks by Bonitismo. Both of the designs are so cute and I love that they both fit the theme really well. I immediately started using the phoenix bookmark straight away, and the quality of them both is of a really high standard.

Other items included in the box was a Fallen Online Chapter Sampler and a Fairyloot Anniversary Booklet. It was nice learning a bit more about Fairyloot and how it started and what it has now grown too.

Finally the book included in this Fairyloot was Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor. I did already know this before opening the box, but the book was such a surprise to look at because its stunning. The blue pages and the decorated front page are a thing of beauty, and is even better looking at in in real life. The book is also signed by the author which is an added bonus. Also included is a letter from the author and a postcard.

Overall Thoughts

I really enjoyed most of the items in this annivesarary box and they all fitted with the theme really well. I liked that this month some of the items included were new and different to what is normally included. It made the box both exciting and refreshing.

If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.

I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Dreams & Wishes. It’s their anniversary box, so I am excited to see what items they have planned to featured in the box.
