The theme for January was Mystery & Mischief. I did guess what book was going to be featured in this box, the rest of the items were a complete surprise. I have to say that the Fairyloot team have completely out done themselves, because this box was amazing.

Unboxing
The first item was this Game of Thrones Funko Mystery Mini Figure. I have not had any of these before and it was nice to get a Game of Thrones character, it just means now I will have to start collecting these now. Other boxes had Harry Potter Funko Mystery Mini Figure.
Another item was this Exclusive Night Circus Pillow Case designed by Risa Rodil. This is the first time I have received a pillow case in a subscription box and I loved that it was different but still very bookish. The design is stunning and the quote is brilliant.
I was so happy to find a candle in the box. This month the candle was an exclusive scent called Come Back Yesterday made by Meraki Candles. As soon as I opened the lid the beautiful smelly scent filled the room.
A surprise in this box was that it included two books. One of the books featured was How To Think Like Sherlock by Daniel Smith. I have not read this book yet, but after flicking through it, I think its going to be something I will have fun reading and trying out the puzzles and questions.
Another item included was this Exclusive Rose Necklace by Oh Panda Eyes. I am not the jewellery type person but I have to say that this is very eye catching and looks very pretty. The necklace is made from good quality material and I can see many people liking this item.
This beautiful Exclusive Alice in Wonderland Bookmark by Read At Midnight was included in the box. Both sides of this bookmark has stunning designs and its really sturdy, which means it will last a while.
Other items included in the box was a Passenger Notebook and a free Jackaby chapter download code. There should of been a Alchemist of Loom Bookmark, for some reason my box was missing it, but I don’t mind.
The book featured in this box was Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I have already read this book but I was excited to get this book in hardback because there was a possible 4 possible designs under the jacket cover. The design I got was the one with the dress. Along with the book there was a signed bookplate, a letter from the author, a bookmark and a postcard.

Overall Thoughts
The Mystery & Mischief box is an amazing box full of great items. I really loved the theme and the items included because they all went perfectly with the theme. The book featured was a brilliant choice and I can see many people enjoy reading it. The Fairyloot team have set the bar high for this years boxes already and if this is a hint of what is to come in 2017, I cant wait to unbox them all.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.
Fairyloot
I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Emperors & Fugitives. It sounds both mysterious and exciting.
