The theme for December’s Fairyloot box was Sci-Fi Adventure. This box had a range of different items and all that fitted in with this months theme.
Unboxing
The first item in the box was this Stormtrooper Star Wars Funko Pop. I collect a lot of Funko Pops and in the past I have had duplicates of Pops I have already got, but surprisingly I have not got this one, so I have added him to my collection.
Another item was the Kryptonite Bath Powder made by Geeky Clean. I love the smell of it because it smells of cupcakes, and everyone likes cupcakes. Also the bright and vibrant green colour is a great choice. Also the item fits well into the Sci-Fi Adventure theme.
Its the first time ever that Fairyloot included Socks as an item in the box. The Galaxy Socks are made by Fairyloot and exclusive to this box. I really like the design and the colour of the socks and they are really soft when I wear them.
There was this Watercolour Bookmark in the box made by Lexy Olivia. The quote on the bookmark is from the Starbound Trilogy by Amie Kaufman. When you hold the bookmark you can tell its made of great materials and the design is stunning.
These two items were made exclusively by Taratjah. The Art Print is of the male characters from the Lunar Chronicles Series and the buttons feature characters from the Red Rising Trilogy. I really like both the buttons and the print, both are designed beautifully.
Other items included in the box were, a Way Down Dark book sampler, Red Rising Print, and The Long Way To A Small, Angry Planet Print. An added extra was also a personal Christmas Card from the creators of Fairyloot, which I thought was a nice touch.
The book featured in Decembers box was Flashfall by Jenny Moyer. Just by reading the description of the book, it fits perfectly with the theme and it sounds like it will be an amazing read and the start of a new series that everyone will want to read about. With the book there was also a Signed Bookplate, Letter from the author and a Bookmark.
Overall Thoughts
I was a little unsure about what to expect from the box when the Sci-Fi Adventure Theme was announced, and I was a little hesitant whether to get the box because I’m not a massive fan of Sci-Fi. But I am so glad I didn’t cancel it because this box was amazing and had some awesome items.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.
Fairyloot
I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Mystery and Mischief. It sounds both intriguing and exciting.
