The theme for November’s Fairyloot was Royals and Rogues. I was really excited by this theme and I couldn’t wait to see what was to be included. After unboxing it all I have to say it was one of the best subscription boxes I’ve had.
Unboxing
The first item from the box was this ‘Queen of Books’ mug made by Read at Midnight . I do like a good mug and the design for this mug is really pretty.
Another item included in the box was a Scented Spectorium Soap Crystal made by CraftyRagamuffin. At first I did wonder what it was because it looks so unusual, but once I opened it the beautiful scented smell filled the room. I liked this item because its something different to look at and apparently it has something to do with the book that’s included in the book.
This Queen of Terrasen Notepad made by Alexis Lampley was another beautiful item in the box. I really like the design and the size of the notepad, and I like the fact that its Throne of Glass themed.
There was two exclusive art prints. One was a Wolf by Wolf print and the other was a double sided Red Queen print. I really like all three prints, I just wish the Red Queen print was double sided because both the designs are stunning but you are only able to see one at a time.
There was also a Pocket Mirror by Bookworm Boutique included in the box. I don’t have much use for the mirror and will probably give it to some else as a gift. But The Wrath and the Dawn quote and design on the mirror is very pretty.
Another great item was this totebag with a quote from ACOMAF. This totebag is a really good size and it seems to be made of really strong material. I also like the colours of the totebag, it makes it very bright and eye catching.
I really liked the Royals and Rogues Tea from The Tea Leaf Company. I have never drank loose leaf tea before but I cant wait to try this Earl Grey tea. Also in the box were some filters for the tea.
Finally the book included in the box was Nemesis by Anna Banks. I had never heard or seen this book before, but after reading the description I cant wait to read it. There was also a signed bookplate, a letter from the author, bookmark and a Parani sketch.
Overall Thoughts
I really liked the contents of this box. I think it stuck to the Royals and Rogues theme really well and I can see myself using most of the items included. Again like the other boxes, all the items included are of really high quality and you can tell that all the items are made to last. I also liked the variety of the items in the box, they all kept to the theme as well as being very different.
If you are thinking to subscribing to FairyLoot then I would suggest signing up to their Newsletter and they will get in contact with you with new themes and the date for when the boxes become available to order.
Fairyloot
I have already subscribed to the next box, which has the theme of Sci-Fi Adventure. It sounds both intriguing and exciting.
