This is a good book but to make it even better make notes as your reading.
Its find it very annoying and distracting when I’m having to go back over things I’ve read to try and understand things I’m currently reading. In this book I found it confusing when it came to the characters. I couldn’t remember who people were and what sort of magic they could do, which is very annoying when your trying to read an action scene and you have no idea what’s happening, it ruins the tension.
It might just be me but I just couldn’t get into this book past the half way point, the characters and locations started to get lost on me.
The magic system in this book is different and in some ways interesting but I found it difficult to understand and remember how some characters powers actually worked.
The storyline in this book is one of the reasons I kept on reading the book, it is interesting and it does grip you and did leave me wanting more.
The two main characters themselves are different and exciting to read about. It did take me some time to pronounce their names right.
I think I would read the sequel to Truthwitch but I hope the author just explains and reminds us about more throughout the book about the different characters and magic.
Overall I think Truthwitch is a good book to read but it’s no where near as good as the hype it was all getting.
