This is a great book for any horror fan to enjoy. It has suspense, loads of gore and full of jumpy, scary action. The book starts off with a bang and does not stop until the very last page, it has me hooked from start to end. You feel for the main characters and feel sorry for what they are left me and how they cope with the situation, but there is also people who you have to hate when reading this book and its not just the Grown-Ups.
This book is written brilliantly and when reading you can visualise what London is like now only kids and the Grown Ups have survived. When I first picked up the book I thought it was not going to be for me and more aimed at children, but I was wrong. It is perfect for adults, even if I was a little scared when reading it. The writing is full of gore that it brings the Grown-Ups to life.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves a good horror adventure story and its perfect to read over Halloween.
