My first book from Garrett Robinson and it was a brilliant read. From the very beginning I was hooked and it didn’t take me long to finish the book. (Just over a day). Once you start to read you get sucked up into the world and you never want to leave.
I think one of the reasons you get so absorbed into the world is because the writing is superb. From the descriptions of places to the characters to the storyline, the writing was perfect.
The characters in the book are great and very relatable in their own way. Sometimes in the first books of a series the characters aren’t fully described or a bit one dimensional, but in Nightblade all the characters are well thought-out and a pleasure to read about. Loren is a great protagonist and she continues to grown on you throughout the book.
This is a great book to read and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who wants to start a new fantasy series. Also I would recommend this book to someone who has never read fantasy before and wants to give it a try, because this is a perfect book to start with.
